Abaxis, Hayward, CA - $6,500,000 Fast-track phased construction of 120,000 SF of new interior improvements from shell, including 60,000 SF of new offices, 40,000 SF of new lab space and 16,000 SF of 5% RH (Dry Rooms) lab space. The project also included a new mezzanine to support air-handling equipment and dryers, a new equipment pad, warehouse, and support areas. Avocet Medical Inc., San Jose, CA - $900,000 Construction of Dry Rooms for a medical device manufacturing company including a 2,000 SF lab controlled at 5% Relative Humidity, and a 1,500 SF lab which is maintained at 10% Relative Humidity. Project also included labs, offices and a new structural platform on the roof for mechanical equipment. Axon Instruments, Hayward, CA - $2,850,000 Two-phase project totaling 100,000 SF of new build-out form shell for a medical equipment manufacturer. Project included lab space and semi-clean areas, all new air-handling and electrical distribution. Centaur Pharmaceuticals, Santa Clara, CA - $4,250,000 Design/Build of a new pharmaceutical facility. The 35,000 SF of space consisted of 12,000 SF of new offices, 17,000 SF of new Vivarium, and 6,000 SF of new ADME and Histo-Chemistry labs. Project included all air-handling and support equipment, a new emergency generator and exhaust systems. Dia Dexus, Santa Clara, CA - $475,000 11,000 SF interior modification, completed on a design-assist basis with WHL Architects, including new offices, new R&D laboratories, and including the installation of new hoods and casework. Hyseq, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA - $2,700,000 50,000 SF phased construction of new offices, GMP Manufacturing Labs and Clean Rooms. Work included new equipment pad, emergency generator and facilitization of the new lab areas. NuGen, San Carlos, CA - $450,000 Office and lab modifications including the installation of new hoods, BSC's and air-handling equipment, as well as a new emergency generator and exterior equipment pad. Roche Biosciences R3, Palo Alto, CA - $8,900,000 A three story, 75,000 SF laboratory remodel. Approximately 70% of the space included new labs and 30% of the space included new office areas. Project included seismic upgrade, new mechanical and electrical service upgrades and facilitization of the new labs. Signature Biosciences, Hayward, CA - $750,000 Design/Build renovation of existing 35,000 SF R&D laboratory building to accommodate new office and lab areas. Project included new piping and exhaust systems, installation of hoods, casework and finishes. |
